PARK RULES

We hope your stay with us is a pleasant experience.  Please be courteous and respectful of everyone. Treat the property like you own it.  Treat your neighbors as you would like to be treated.  

Under Louisiana laws, we are not your landlord, and you are not a tenant. You are a guest.  If you are evicted you must depart within 1 hour of an agreed upon time or the time noted on the eviction notice.  After one hour, guest(s) and their belongings may be removed by authorities.  Any expenses for this removal (including tow trucks) will be the evicted guests responsibility.  We are not required and will not give you a refund if evicted. 

PETS: Cleaning up after your pets is strictly enforced.  All dogs must be kept on a leash.  Do not tie or chain pets outside for long periods of time or while you are not home. Excessive barking will not be tolerated.  You are liable and responsible for any damage or injury done by your animal. No aggressive animals permitted.

SPEED LIMIT IS 5 MPH…NO SPEEDING.

QUIET HOURS:  are from 9:00 pm to 7:00 am.  Loud, disturbing music, loud talking, revving of vehicles or motorcycles, working outside or other noise will not be allowed. This is part of respect your neighbors. Please be considerate of your neighbors by keeping outside noise to a minimum.

Kids: We love having children stay in the park, and want to keep them safe. Please supervise your children at all times. Parents are responsible for all damage caused by their children.

Washing of vehicles not allowed in the park.  No washing of RVs without making arrangements with the office. There is a charge for washing RVs.  Absolutely no washing of cars or trucks. You will need to find a car wash.

No 18 wheelers allowed in park.  If you have an over sized truck you need to speak with management before bringing it on the park property.

Your site: Your site must be clean and clutter free, all trash ,bottles, and food must be discarded properly in the dumpster provided.  Any outside trash can should be secured, not be overflowing and have a trash bag in it.   No excessive clutter around your camper, if we ask you to clean your lot you must do so immediately.  If clutter becomes a habitual problem you will be asked to leave.  Appliances are not allowed outside your RV.  You may be asked to cut your grass and weed eat your site if it is not prepared for us to mow ( stuff in the yard that needs to be moved). The dismantling of vehicles is prohibited in the park.  We are not responsible for lost or stolen items .  Make sure your vehicles are locked and secure your valuables. We are not responsible for damages to your property, unless we did it.

Putting a tarp on your camper is not a solution:  A tarp on your camper may not be a long term solution for a leaky roof.  Two weeks will be the maximum for a tarp and then it must be removed, and can not be put back on unless authorized by management.

NO SMOKING IN ANY BUILDING!  Your guests should be aware of this rule also as they can be asked to leave if caught smoking in buildings. Cigarette butts should not be disposed of on the ground.

Absolutely no illegal drugs allowed in the park.

Laundry room:  Do not leave your clothes unattended for an extended amount of time.  We are not responsible for stolen clothes.  Clean dryer filters after every use.  Do not wash large items such as blankets, quilts, floor rugs or sleeping bags.  Please drop us a note in the slot if you have a problem with any machine so we can get it fixed.

Bathrooms:  No hair dye.  Only for park guests.  Clean up after yourself.  Provide your own toilet paper, soap, and towels.  Do not flush anything but toilet paper in the toilet.  If you stop up the toilet, unclog it.

Trash:  Dumpster is provided at the rear of the park on the right hand side.  Do not throw away mattresses, furniture, or extra large items in or around the dumpster. If the dumpster is full please let us know and we will have it emptied.  Do not throw bags on the ground around the dumpster or on top.  Do not throw open food in the dumpster.

Extra person policy: Prices cover your immediate family only.  All guests and their guest staying with them must register and will result in additional charges if long term. Subletting is not allowed.  Your guest can get you evicted if  they do not follow these rules.

No solicitation.  If you see solicitors in the park, please notify us.

Open fires not permitted in the park. Use of firearms not permitted on park property. No fireworks permitted on property.  Fire rings are acceptable.

Be safe and enjoy your stay.  Pecan Acres is not responsible for accidents.

THESE RULES MAY CHANGE AT ANY TIME AND BREAKING OF THESE RULES CAN RESULT IN YOU BEING ASKED TO LEAVE.
